Project Life...It's been awhile.

I'm caught up.  Maybe that's why I don't feel the need to blog.  That and I don't really have all that much to share.  This week I wanted to link up at The Mom Creative blog.  I miss that network.  I miss sharing my weekly layouts.  I loved how this week turned out too that I thought I had no photos to contribute.   All the photos are iphone shots and the page protector on the right side is We R Memory Keepers 6-4x6 page protectors.  I love this layout feature, it's been my favorite page protector thus far!

I look forward to March ....it holds a lot of fun I know...but February you will be missed.  I think you get overlooked sometimes because you are so short.  I love you February, you will always be a favorite in our home!

I want a perm...no wait chop it off

Today I had an appointment to get a perm with my favorite hair dresser!  As I was driving there I remembered a photo of Katherine McPhee that I saw that I loved!  And I thought...no perm for me I'm going to do my normal red color and a cut!  Yup, I'm cutting my hair!

And 3 inches went just like that.  I will be honest there was this part of me that had butterflies as I saw the hair fall to the ground but I knew it'd grow back and once upon a time ago I had short hair, I could embrace it again.

I think I'm going to like this hair.

This Man that I love...

From Where I Stand...

From where I stand...the weather is changing.
From where I stand... I'm working for a sweet group.
From where I stand... I wing motherhood every morning, day, evening and night...
From where I stand...I see joy in everyday things.
From where I stand...I long to understand why things go so well one day and fall apart the next...
From where I stand...I love Downton Abbey.  Seriously.
From where I stand...I could eat at Chipotle everyday, twice a day probably.
From where I stand...I may have become a vegetarian who doesn't eat dairy either.
From where I stand...exercise is super boring right now.
From where I stand...I can't wait to mail out my favorite time of year invites.
From where I stand...35 is on the horizon which just means...40 is even closer.
From where I stand...I still feel like I'm a kid.
From where I stand...I am a volunteer.
From where I stand...I carpool kids twice a week.
From where I stand...I want to create, go to create and am lost often....
From where I stand...I have a 10 year old (that's how old my brother was when I met my husband....)
From where I stand...I eat green smoothie shakes everyday.
From where I stand...pumpkin spice decaf soy 2 pump lattes are better then I thought they'd be.
From where I stand...I am reading 1 Corinthians 10 everyday, no reason, but I'm sure I'm gleaning something from it....sure of it....
From where I stand...I love Hulu+
From where I stand....I think I may decorate early for Halloween, like Monday.  So excited for October.
From where I stand....this year feels already long and already zooming by.
From where I stand...I listen to kids fighting, loving, helping, cleaning, messing, playing, working, practicing, eating, Wii'ing, riding, making, creating, wishing, hoping, feeding, cuddling, pretending, singing, dancing, gymnasticing, walking, praying, reading, giving, taking, pleasing, arguing, hurting, smiling all day.
From where I stand...it's hard but I like it.  I like where I stand.

Project Life Tuesday

oh where has the time gone....

oh I don't know, let me count the ways:

10.  Kids, I have them.
9.  Vacation, I like to take it.
8.  Summer...yeah thats over.
7.  I did this lemonade diet crazy thing for 10 days... I'm not sure but I may have lost some braincells...well some people may think.  I did love it though, and HIGHLY recommend it!
6.  I just plain ol' didn't make the time
5.  We had this power outage from this storm that was BAD and after that I lost all normalcy until now...
4.  I put too high of expectations on myself, true and ugly story...
3.  my desk...where is my desk?  (lost in a sea of paper and mess)
2.  the pictures got too many to print at home so I sent away for the 10 weeks that I am behind
1.  seriously...where did the time go!?

Okay but I'm back now, with vengeance!  I love this project, I DO, I DO!  And truly, I'm not trying to convince myself.  It really makes me happy.  My husband thought I was crazy after finishing this week and I was completely shouting sing songs from the rooftops on how much I adored my pages so.

So, am I caught up on Project Life?  Nope.  What do I do when I'm behind?  I start at the week I'm on...print all my oldies with my Free 101 prints from Shutterfly and worry about the last 10 weeks later....

EEEEEEkkkk I used the new page protector inserts for 4x4s...UM LOVE!  I will be using these a.lot. I love them.  So much!  

 I love this page style, it's repeated A.LOT. in my album.  Now I'm super into variety yes, but when it comes to repetition this is my go to style. 

 Up close...yes, Chipotle twice in one week...I'm obsessed!
